what is the lotus method?
A dynamic , strong, fitness method that gives a satisfying low-impact Pilates workout - result based to build lean, toned muscle. Created by the studio owner, Lisa Wiggins, a certified Pilates Instructor, Personal Trainer, Teacher and the proud mother of two young boys.
After the birth of her second son in 2015, Lisa found she had gained 80 pounds while nursing her baby boy. She looked at her relflection the mirror to see an unrecognizable postpartum version of herself. It was then she decided it was time for a full body transformation. It was time to lose the weight and begin to fall in love with her new postpartum body. Once she started to incorporate the principles of pilates, and focusing on the movement of muscle as she used the reformer she noticed major changes in her body. Day by day she became more flexible, stronger , noticed a drastic change in her posture (which was incredible because she has scoliosis and a large curvature in her upper spine). Much like the lotus flower itself , she too, pushed herself up from the deep dark mud, out into the light to blossom into a resilient, stronger version of herself.
